As a Special Counsel at Milbank LLP, I have over 12 years of experience in representing sovereign states and multinational companies in complex and high-stakes disputes. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS), and a member of the bars of New York, District of Columbia, Paris, and England & Wales.
My core competencies include investor-state and commercial arbitration, public international law, and U.S. federal litigation. I have handled cases under various arbitration rules and institutions, as well as ad hoc proceedings, involving diverse sectors such as energy, mining, transportation, satellites, financial, and biosciences. I also advise clients on treaty interpretation, investment protection, state responsibility, sovereign immunity, and international water law.
