Personal bio
Shreif is a seasoned legal professional with over 16 years of experience in the legal field. He has held prominent roles within the Egyptian Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Justice, serving as Chief Prosecutor in the Anti White-collar Crimes Division and as a Judge for a decade, gaining extensive experience across various branches of litigation.
Following his tenure in public service, Shreif transitioned to the private sector as a Senior Legal Counsel at Andersen’s Egypt Office. In 2020, he co-founded ALPHA ADVISORS - Legal and Tax Consultants with his associates. As the Managing Partner, he currently leads the firm's Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Team, with a particular focus on energy-related disputes, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate/commercial matters.
Throughout his career, Shreif has provided legal counsel and representation to both multinational and national organizations across diverse industries, including oil and gas, construction, real estate, manufacturing, securities, logistics, and maritime. He has played a key role in negotiating major transactions and agreements, as well as managing the annulment and enforcement of domestic rulings and international arbitral awards, particularly those issued by CRCICA and the ICC.
