QC with 30 years' professional experience specialising in real property and landlord and tenant law. Acts as an Arbitrator, Independent Expert and (qualified) Mediator. Often in cases involving contractual interpretation. Also acts as a Legal Assessor to surveyor arbitrators. Authorised to sit as a Deputy (part-time) High Court Judge and appointed as a Recorder since 2009 sitting (part time) in the Crown Court and County Court. Author of textbooks on drafting business leases and registered land, as well as contributor to other publications.
