Mr Jorge Escalona Gálvez Invesment arbitration cases on behalf of Mexico

As a Subdirector at the Ministry of Economy, I represent the Mexican State in investor-State arbitration proceedings initiated by foreign investors under various treaties, such as the NAFTA, the USMCA, and other BITs. I contribute to the defense strategy, the legal research, and the drafting of pleadings and submissions in complex and high-stakes cases involving public international law, international investment law, and investment arbitration.
