Personal bio

As an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and with extensive forensic planning experience I have successfully completed several assignments to resolve contractual disputes including experience of Adjudication and Alternative Dispute Resolution processes.

My emphasis being on providing a professional yet flexible service to those organisations and projects where a full time Planning practitioner cannot be justified, or simply to facilitate the management of periods of peak demand when Arbitration or Adjudication is imminent.

In September 2021 I received a BTEC Level 7 Advanced Professional Award in Forensic Analysis in Construction.

Some recent commissions have included:
Transport for London SFA Tranche 2
Time Impact Analysis method used to justify an Extension of Time of 99 working days. 4No “Windows” were analysed covering the critical delay events throughout the Project. The results were also used by the Client to seek an EOT from the Employer.

Rail Electrification Project
Working closely with the Commercial Team, provided Forensic Planning input to a Position Statement to demonstrate an EOT of 70 weeks. The Impacted As-Planned methodology was used to evaluate the effect of the 4No dominant delaying Events. The analysis resulted in the recovery of £1.2m in costs.
Thames Tideway Tunnel
Produced a rebuttal to Employers Claim for Damages and reduced the Clients liability. Initial analysis was a As-Built v As-Planned review, this helped identify the true impact of Instructed Change. A suite of Impacted As-Planned was prepared of the dominant delaying Change Events. and summarised in a simple Graphic Chart.
