Personal bio
Christine Santini is a mediator, arbitrator and legal consultant, with a vast experience in civil and public law as a judge, both in 1st and 2nd instances, at São Paulo Court of Justice (1987/2021). She is a JD from University of São Paulo and holds an Executive MBA in Law (Management and Business Law) from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. As a former judge, she occupied the position of Coordinator of International Affairs in São Paulo Judicial Academy (2014/2021) and she took part in the committee created by the CNJ (National Council of Justice) in charge of coordinating and supervising the application of the Data Protection Act in Brazilian courts. She is also a member of the consulting boards of the Initiative Compliance for Health (project developed by FGV EAESP - Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo - Fundação Getúlio Vargas, FGVethics and FGV Saúde); Instituto Phaneros, specializing in psychedelic research for mass mental health; IASS – International Academy for Space Studies; and of the Permanent Commission on Governance and Integrity of the OAB/SP. Christine has an extensive experience in the multidisciplinary area of Law and Medicine, and also in the area of technology. She participated in numerous events, courses and workshops in Brazil and abroad (mainly USA, UK, France, Japan and Uruguay), aimed to discuss access to justice and alternative dispute resolution methods. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), a member of CBAr - Brazilian Arbitration Committe, SVAMC - Silicon Valley Arbitration and Mediation Center, and DRBF - Dispute Resolution Board Foundation.
