Personal bio
I have over 40 years of experience as an English-qualified legal practitioner, initially as a barrister and subsequently as a solicitor with Allen & Overy and Dentons. I was based in London for many years and then in Moscow. I have extensive legal experience of the international petroleum industry, both in-house and in private practice. I worked in the City of London for over a decade, during which i became known for my work on oil and gas M&A transactions as well as my financial services regulatory expertise. I advised clients on commercial and financing transactions in Russia for over 25 years and was valued for his strategic counsel. I now practice as an international arbitrator from chambers in Gray’ Inn, London.
