I have 30 years of contract, dispute resolution and programme management experience, gained within a variety of organizations and industry sectors in Canada, the U.K. and Australia. I have a track record of successfully delivering high profile rail and utilities construction projects and bids using a wide variety of international contract models.
My current role is a Commercial Vice President working for Metrolinx based working on the GO railway upgrade portfolio across the Greater Toronto Authority. My commercial responsibilities include the track, signalling, overhead electrification, utilities portfolio's as well as managing our consultants who provided technical advisory services. Prior to this, I led the Dragados Canada Inc. bid for the Ontario Line: Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel Contract which was valued at $5.5B. In Montreal, I led the utilities and enabling works on the bid for the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge reconstruction project which is valued at $1.96B. Prior to moving to Canada, I was employed by FirstGroup plc in London as their Head of Property Programme managing a construction programme valued at $587M. Since 1998, I have worked in the UK delivering complex infrastructure programmes for organizations including High Speed 2, Crossrail and the London Underground. In parallel, working as a commercial dispute resolute specialist my expertise is in complex engineering/construction disputes and concurrent delay claims.
I am a Fellow and Chartered Professional Engineer in the Institution of Engineers, Australia (FIEAust CPEng) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) specializing in Arbitration. Recently, I achieved my Project Management Professional PMP® certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI).
