Stuart is dual qualified in both Quantity Surveying and Construction Law. Stuart holds a Maters Degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution with a bias towards International Arbitration. He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Association of Cost Engineers. Stuart started in career in construction management having built a personal portfolio of projects valued at over £750m. He has extensive and unrivalled experience in numerous sectors such as air/sea ports, education, healthcare, commercial, retail and industrial having been involved in some of the UK’s most prestigious projects. Stuart’s vast practical construction experience coupled with his commercial expertise puts Forefront Commercial Solutions in prime position in respect to your particular issue or dispute. Stuart prides himself in his ability to quickly get to the cusp of the issue and develop a winning strategy to empower his clients to make the correct decisions based on considered professional advice. Stuart has been Party Representative in numerous Adjudications, Arbitrations, Mediations and Expert Determinations across the UK, Ireland and internationally. He has provided advice on countless issues relating to delay and disruption and loss and expense and has advised main contractors, subcontractors, client organisations, local government and public sector organisations. Stuart also provides training on various commercial and contractual issues with courses being tailored to your specific business needs, he regularly provides training to all Northern Ireland public body organisations on EU Procurement and Contract Management. Stuart is also a frequent lecturer as Queens University, Belfast.
