Mark is a chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years’ experience within the construction and engineering industry. The last 7 years of which have been spent specifically in dealing with quantum analysis for the preparation and defence of entitlement submissions in resolution of construction claims and preparation of expert witness reports for use in international arbitration proceedings. He holds a 1st Class Degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, as well as a Master’s Degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Building and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Mark has major project experience within the EMEA region and specialises in providing clients with contractual, commercial, claims and dispute advice and management. He has represented and advised clients on a range of quantum-based issues spanning a diverse range of project types including roads, airports, mixed-use developments, rail, process plants, nuclear decommissioning, power plants, data centres and education schemes. He has experience and practical knowledge of numerous standard forms of contract including FIDIC, JCT, NEC, GC Works and other bespoke forms.
