I returned to Trinidad in 1989 and was admitted to the Bar in Trinidad and Tobago as an attorney-at-law and was issued an Legal Education Certificate (LEC) in 1991. I proceeded to practice in Trinidad and Tobago in all areas of civil law, family law, commercial law and land and probate law until 2009 when I was appointed as a temporary Judge of the Supreme Court in Trinidad and Tobago. That position was made permanent in September 2010 and I have continued in that position until present writing several judgments in all areas of civil law, administrative law, company law, public law and many other areas. In the meantime, I was called to the Bar in Ontario, Canada in 2015 and also became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
