From her early days qualifying as a UK Barrister in 1997 with a scholarship from the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, Ann-Marie' Joseph's journey has been marked by her commitment to dispute resolution and consumer rights.

Called also to the Bar of St. Lucia and the British Virgin Islands, she has built a robust practice focusing on Alternative Dispute Resolution, consumer complaints, debt cases, small claims, regulatory law, and estate planning. Her commitment to service is evident through the training seminars on Mediation she conducts to the Public Service and the pro bono helpdesk she runs from her chambers. It provides invaluable assistance in resolving disputes to those in need.

Ann-Marie served as a Magistrate in both the UK and St. Lucia presiding over Family, Consumer, Civil, criminal cases. Her roles as an Arbitrator (ACIarb) and Court appointed Mediator on the Easternn Caribbean Supreme Court Roster (2013-2014, demonstrate her adeptness at conflict resolution.
She has also adjudicated as Chair of the Accident Investigations Board for the Government Of St Lucia; adjudicating over accident cases.

As a founding member of the Mediators Forum (St. Lucia) a Non profit Organisation, she continues to act in an advisory capacity to Consumer Associations and other NGOs, emphasizing her commitment to using her skills. More recent she is instrumental in ablishings outreach is helping the Bar Association and the OECS Bar Legal Aid.

Ann-Marie's expertise extends beyond the legal field. As a Chartered Insurer (ACII), she has acquired extensive knowledge in financial planning, compliance officer roles, and complaints handling. Her tenure as a business risk consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers further expanded her skill set, allowing her to assist a diverse range of enterprises, including banks, insurers, small business owners. This experience has equipped her with a broad perspective on operational risk and complaints handling in regulated environments
Currently, Ann-Marie is enthusiastic about furthering the guiding principles of the Red Cross and overseeing the implementation of the Conflict & Legal Committee and the resolution of Community disputes.
