Personal bio
Professor Jayavadh Bunnag is a Fellow and Chartered Arbitrator of CIArb. He holds a Bachelor of Law from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, and a Master of Laws from Harvard University. He has been practicing in Thailand since 1969. His practice covers most aspects of the commercial practice, e.g., corporate, contracts, investments, banking and finance, international business transactions, etc. He specializes in minerals and oil and gas laws. His dispute resolution practice involves sitting as an arbitrator, counsel and expert witness on Thai law in domestic and international arbitrations. He was Chairman of the Thailand Branch of CIArb for many years. He is now President of the International Law Association of Thailand, and is an Adjunct Professor of Commercial Law of Thammasat University in Thailand.
