Personal bio
I am a Senior Associate in the arbitration practice group of Sultan Al-Abdulla & Partners - a premier disputes firm in Doha, Qatar. I am experienced in all forms of commercial dispute resolution, with a focus on arbitration. I have advised and represented clients at various stages of over 20 commercial arbitration matters, including in arbitrations conducted under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, QICCA and DIAC, and ad hoc arbitrations. I also routinely appear before the Qatar International Court and the Regulatory Tribunal of the Qatar Financial Centre. I also serve as an Assistant Editor (MENA) of the Kluwer Arbitration Blog and a member of the Legislative Reforms Committee of the Center for International Investment and Commercial Arbitration, Pakistan. I am also the Editor of PakArbitrationLaw, Pakistan's first online platform for arbitration-related literature. I am a qualified barrister (NP) in England & Wales, having been Called to the Bar by Gray's Inn in 2015, and a licensed Advocate of the High Courts in Pakistan.
