Marcelo Perlman is a commercial mediator based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators (IAM), and has been included in the Panel of Distinguished Neutrals of The International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR), in the Panel of Mediators of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), international division of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), as well as in the rosters of mediators of different reputable Brazilian and Portuguese providers. His mediation practice has been recognized in the rankings Commercial Mediation 2022 and Brazil - Commercial Mediation 2022, published by Who's Who Legal, Mediators - Brazil – 2021, 2022 and 2023, published by Leaders League, and the 2021 Lexology Client Choice Awards for Mediation in Brazil. Co-Chair of the Mediation and Negotiation Task Force of Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Empresarial – IBRADEMP (Brazilian Institute of Business Law), member of the Brazilian Advisory Board (BAB) of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR), member of the Mediation Advisory Committee of Centro de Arbitragem e Mediação da Câmara de Comércio Brasil-Canadá (CAM-CCBC), effective member of the Special Committee for Commercial Mediation of the Sao Paulo section of the Brazilian Bar Association, and member of the Advisory Committee of Instituto Mediare.
