Personal bio
Dan specialises in construction disputes in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has advised on complex claims under a large range of construction contracts (both bespoke and standard form) covering design and build, turnkey, EPCIC and EPCM arrangements, as well as disputes arising under related project agreements (such as PPAs, and concessions). Dan's experience covers power plants (gas, coal and renewable), refinery, petrochemical and other process plants, rail and utilities projects, as well as offshore oil and gas projects. Dan has acted as counsel in numerous arbitrations under the rules of major institutions, including the ICC and SIAC. Dan has also been appointed as an arbitrator.
