I am a strategy and investment professional with over 20 years of corporate experience across the industries of Transport and Logistics, Real Estate, Consulting and Government Outsourcing. Since 2020, I up skilled focusing on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practices, which I combine with my corporate knowledge, to resolve disputes through Arbitration and Mediation.
I have been appointed as sole arbitrator and as co-arbitrator under the DIAC rules in Dubai and under the ADCCAC rules in Abu Dhabi, with most of the cases relating to real estate, corporate and financial issues. During my corporate career, I worked in UK, France and UAE, with multi-national companies including DP World, Dubai Holding, Serco ME, PA Consulting Group, Pfizer Pharmaceutical, Royal Bank of Scotland, GlaxoSmithKline among others. I have an array of skills in mergers and acquisition, business development and strategy, dispute resolution, business and financial acumen, leadership, communication, corporate governance, and in driving business growth and implementing change.
I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), a CEDR Accredited Mediator and I am listed on the UAE CIArb branch accredited Mediators List. I am also a Supporting Member of The London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA).
I have completed an MA in Law (Conversion) from the University of Law, UK, as well as an MSc. in Operational Research and a BSc. in Mathematics and French, from the University of Southampton, UK (MA, MSc, BSc). I am also a Fellow and Chartered Director of the UK Institute of Directors and the GCC Board Directors Institute (CDir, FIoD, F.GCCBDI) and I have served as a Board Director since 2012. I speak English, Arabic and French.
