Volunteers

Our volunteers are vital to our mission to promote and facilitate private dispute resolution globally. Hundreds of subject matter experts around the world generously volunteer their time and expertise to support the work of Ciarb and our international network of Branches across 150 jurisdictions.

How do our volunteers support us?

Running Branches

One of the ways in which volunteers contribute to Ciarb is by running our Branches. Ciarb members value their local Branch as a great way of networking with other members and further developing their knowledge and skills. Each Branch is run by a Committee comprising volunteers who, as well as being responsible for the day-to-day running of the Branch, also organise activities such as seminars, social events, and courses for members in their jurisdiction. Thought Leadership Groups

Our Thought Leadership Groups are composed of volunteers who drive the conversation forward on specific topics. They draw on their knowledge and expertise to deliver best practice guidance to support our members with their day-to-day practice.

Events, education and training sessions

A number of members help Ciarb on a volunteer basis to organise or speak at events, education and training sessions, run by Ciarb HQ or by their Branch.

Impact of volunteers

Our volunteers are crucial to everything we do and are at the heart of supporting us to achieve our mission. They bring with them substantial subject matter expertise, knowledge and experience which is invaluable, enabling us to enhance members’ experiences globally and to have a presence in 150 jurisdictions.
