Mandy Gill
General Counsel and Director of Legal Services
Mandy joined Ciarb in December 2023. She is responsible for the Governance, Legal and the Dispute Appointment Service functions.
Mandy has vast experience in the charity sector and was previously Head of Legal at The British Red Cross Society. Prior to that she was the Head of Legal at the NSPCC.
In April 2023, Mandy was named Head of Legal of the Year at the prestigious and global Women in Governance, Risk and Compliance Awards. During her time at the NSPCC she was a finalist in the Law Society’s Excellence Awards as In-House Solicitor of the Year.
In her roles, she has provided a wide range of strategic legal and regulatory advice and has managed high reputational risk matters. She has provided advice in extremely high-pressured environments; led organisations through Select Committees and Public Inquiries; and her work has involved national and global resilience. Mandy’s work has led to changes in the law to protect some of the most vulnerable in society.
Mandy collaborates across industries and has a strong commitment to moving the dial for equality, diversity and inclusion and also mentors others to help them achieve their potential.
Mandy has recently become a Trustee for Amicus and is also their Company Secretary. She previously volunteered for Reprieve in both Louisiana and the UK.
