The Caribbean Branch was formed in 2006 and officially launched in November 2007.
It covers the Caribbean region including members in the countries of Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and Turks and Caicos Islands.

The Supreme Court has handed down its judgment in the case of Halliburton v Chubb, which dealt with the issue of when an arbitrator must disclose circumstances which may give rise to justifiable doubts about their impartiality.
