What is the aim of the programme?
The aim of this assessment programme, delivered virtually via Zoom over 5 days by experienced assessors, is to provide a fast-track assessment route to Fellowship through the International (i.e. non-domestic) Arbitration Pathway. The assessment programme, which comprises of oral workshops, written assignments and an evidence and award writing exam, has been designed for busy professionals with substantial unassessed knowledge and experience of International Arbitration. It will assess whether they have the requisite knowledge to apply principles and procedures of International Arbitration using arbitration legislation based on the UNCITRAL Model Law and Arbitration Rules and are capable of writing a reasoned and enforceable International Arbitration Award.
This virtual programme focuses on the process, practice and procedures in International Arbitration, including evidence and award writing, which are essential benchmarks for qualification as a Fellow and for those who aim to practice as an International Arbitrator.
How is the programme delivered?
This virtual programme, delivered using the Zoom platform, is assessment-based as opposed to a training based. Across 5 days, its aim is to assess whether candidates meet the standards required to attain Fellowship grade. Learning is based on private study prior to the oral assessment workshop, followed by written assignments, peer discussion and tutor assessment during the workshops and an evidence and award writing assessment at the end of the workshop programme.
Programme fees: R$3.750,00 course fee, payable to ClArb Brazil Branch £408 assessment fee, payable to ClArb. Discounts may apply on the course fee.
