What is the aim of the programme?

The assessment programme, which comprises of oral workshops, written assignments and an evidence and award writing exam, has been designed for busy professionals with substantial unassessed knowledge and experience of International Arbitration. It will assess whether they have the requisite knowledge to apply principles and procedures of International Arbitration using arbitration legislation based on the UNCITRAL Model Law and Arbitration Rules and are capable of writing a reasoned and enforceable International Arbitration Award.

This virtual programme focuses on the process, practice and procedures in International Arbitration, including evidence and award writing, which are essential benchmarks for qualification as a Fellow and for those who aim to practice as an International Arbitrator.

How is the programme delivered?

This virtual programme, delivered using the Zoom platform, is assessment-based as opposed to a training based.
