CIArb Australia President, Caroline Kenny QC has been awarded Chartered Arbitrator status, the only woman in Australia to currently hold the prestigious rank which carries global recognition.

On May 13-17, 2019, the CIArb New York Branch and Columbia Law School presented their fifth annual Columbia - CIArb Comprehensive Course on International Arbitration

On Monday 17 June (15.00-17.00), the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for ADR (which CIArb serves as Secretariat) is holding an evidence session entitled  “How can government make more use of Conflict Avoidance Boards (CABs)?”.

On 2 May 2019, East Asia Branch in Hong Kong had the honour of hearing from Thomas D. Halket, President of CIArb on his theme for his year in office - "Meeting Today’s Challenges to Prepare for the Future", at The Hong Kong Club.

On 23 May 2019, CIArb’s London Branch and the Anglo Russian Law Association jointly held a seminar entitled “Arbitration and Mediation in Russia and the CIS”. The event was hosted by Osborne Clarke LLP.
