On 21 April 2021, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators London Branch (CIArb) hosted its annual Keynote Speech, which was delivered online by Professor Dr Maxi Scherer, entitled "The proper law of the arbitration agreement: A comparative law perspective".

CIArb London together with Queen Mary University London and the Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners jointly hosted an online event on "Preparing Tomorrow’s Disputes Practitioner: The Future of Dispute Resolution Training".
