CIArb's Young Members Group is pleased to invite anyone aged 40 years and under to participate in the CIArb YMG writing competition.

On 10 July 2021, while Taiwan was still under Level 3 Covid-19 alert, CIArb’s Taiwan Chapter held its Accelerated Route to Membership (ARM) course with all participants joining safely from the ease of their office or home.

On 14 July 2021 CIArb held an event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, which introduced statutory adjudication into UK construction. 

The UK Civil Justice Council (CJC) has issued its report on the legality and desirability of compulsory Alternative Dispute Resolution, having been tasked with this remit in January 2021.

The podcast on Emergency Arbitration “Arbitrating in the Emergency Room,” which CIArb co-produced with Wolters Kluwer, is now live.

CIArb’s North West Branch is a well established, successful and progressive branch. We have circa 450 members from a variety of professional backgrounds. We generally host events every 6-8 weeks throughout the year and we often have prominent speakers from their respective fields discussing relevant topics.
