In May 2023, Lahore, Pakistan’s second-largest city and the capital of the province of Punjab, hosted a two-day international conference co-organised by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ Pakistan Branch (Ciarb Pakistan Branch) and MK Consultus LLP and sponsored by several prominent law firms, companies and organisations from Pakistan and abroad.

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 27 July 2022 to promote international alternative dispute resolution in Oman and across MENA.

On 27 May 2022, the newly launched CIArb Pakistan Branch held its inaugural Conference on Judicial Perspectives on Domestic and International Arbitration in Pakistan.

CIArb held its first official event in Pakistan on 10 March 2021 at Jinnah Auditorium, City Court in association with Karachi Bar Association for a virtual audience.
