The Resolution Conference in the Channel Islands

11 Apr 2019

On Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 April the inaugural Resolution Conference was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel and welcomed over 100 delegates. The two-day conference was organised by The Resolution Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in the Channel Islands, in partnership with Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

The fifteen local and international speakers focused on human and technical factors related to achieving game-changing outcomes across family owned businesses; private and third sector enterprises; corporate and private offices; Health, Education and Public Services; and Construction.

Organisers are delighted with the fantastic response the inaugural event received and look forward to hosting a second Resolution Conference in the future.

Howard Le Cornu, CEO of The Resolution Centre - who worked with 3D Events to create, shape and implement the event, commented:

“With such significant attendance, we saw and felt how the cultural movement of resolution is gaining energy; it was thrilling to hear stories of how resolution avenues are engaging more and more people in game-changing conversations from the boardroom to the front line”.

Anthony Abrahams, CIArb Director General commented:

"We were proud to support the Resolution Conference which turned out to be such a great success. It was very inspiring to see so many delegates from business communities interested in various methods of resolving struggles and disputes they face in their professions. CIArb is pleased to promote initiatives like the Resolution Conference which help people and organisations avoid, manage and resolve conflicts."
