On 30 April 2020, the North West branch pioneered its first leap into online meetings.
The branch held its first ever committee meeting solely online, and this was followed by a virtual Annual General Meeting.
The AGM was wonderfully executed despite the difficult circumstances the branch is currently facing.
The branch welcomed its new Chair, Matthew Drake FCIArb and Vice-Chair, Nicola Sharp FCIArb following the steady tenure of the outgoing Chair, Richard Barnes FCIArb.
The meetings demonstrated that the technology works for larger groups and the North West branch is now looking at using a mixture of virtual and physical platforms to run the branch going forward.
The North West branch is looking forward to hosting its first ever online event Mediation Surgery on 9 June 2020.
