CIArb’s Western Counties, Year in Review

01 Dec 2020

CIArb’s Western Counties Branch celebrates its achievements for the Year in Review, in particular the CPD seminar event held on the 30 January 2020 at the Holiday Inn, in Bristol city centre. This was a joint event of the Chartered Institute of Building and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. The programme was a doubleheader “The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Business Arbitration Scheme – an alternative to adjudication?” presented by CIArb’s own Tom Cadman, Deputy Director General, and “Mediation – Why mediate? The carrot or the stick?” presented by Robert Evans FCIArb, barrister at Keating Chambers.

CIArb’s Western Counties Branch is grateful for the positive feedback that was given to these events. The Chair of the CIOB Bristol Hub and Vice Chair of the Western Counties Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators thought the event was ‘excellently presented by our two speakers and engaged the audience with their knowledge and expertise in their subject matter’.
