CIArb response to the invasion of Ukraine

“The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) condemns in the strongest terms Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in breach of the protective principle of International Law prohibiting the use of threat of force against another State. The protective principle aims to ensure territorial integrity and political independence which have been violated by Russia’s invasion. As a global advocate of peaceful conflict resolution, we are deeply concerned about this grave development. Our thoughts are with all those affected.”
