In light of the extraordinary circumstances brought about by the coronavirus pandemic, CIArb has undertaken a number of precautionary measures to protect the wellbeing of staff, members and the general public, which will have an effect on operations within departments of CIArb. Staff at CIArb headquarters in London are working remotely and further departmental changes are explained below.

Education and Membership:
Measures include the regrettable postponement of courses and assessments at CIArb headquarters in London. Work will continue, and both the Education and Membership departments have adopted procedures to ensure that the disruption to these services remains minimal.
CIArb’s popular Online Introduction to ADR course will still provide those interested in becoming members with the opportunity to train; and its Membership department will continue to receive and process all membership applications and enquiries. CIArb has implemented virtual classroom software to enable it to deliver training online and, whilst the conditions subsist, CIArb’s assessments can be taken remotely. The Education and Training Team will liaise with all branches and candidates regarding alternative arrangements for global assessments, and will work closely with its branches on training too. Our Membership team remains available to answer all membership enquiries, with regards to matters such as applications, peer interviews and subscriptions.
