Arbitration Pathway to Fellowship Course in Istanbul

CIArb European Branch is pleased to invite you to Module 1: Law Practice and Procedure of International Arbitration Course which will take place between September and December in Istanbul.

The course focuses on legal principles, process, practice and procedure in International Commercial Arbitration. It is therefore valuable for anyone wishing to understand this topic generally, for example as a party, party representative or witness. It is also an essential requirement for qualification as a Fellow of CIArb, and for those who aim to practise as an international arbitrator. CIArb Membership provides a world-class qualification demonstrating excellence in ADR. Becoming a Member is a step through our world-renowned training programme to become a CIArb Fellow.

The course is delivered over a period of three months, with a combination of private study and face-to-face tutorials.

Significant progress on Advisory Centre for International Investment Law at UNCITRAL

In 2017, UNCITRAL Working Group III (WGIII) was launched and was tasked with working on procedural reform of the investor state dispute settlement (ISDS) system. From 1-5 April 2024, Ciarb participated in the 48th session of WGIII in its capacity as an observer delegate.
