Sue Kim is a Director with Secretariat based in London, the United Kingdom. She is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and RICS Accredited Expert Witness with over 20 years of experience working internationally on a wide range of distressed projects in the construction and engineering industries.

She specialises in matters of quantity surveying practice including the valuation of variations and claims for prolongation, disruption, defective works and termination.

Professional Experience
Ms. Kim has experience in all aspects of quantity surveying, contract administration and dispute resolution. She has been been appointed as a Single Joint Quantum Expert Witness and as a party appointed Quantum Expert Witness in litigation, international arbitration and adjudication.

This combination of skills in all aspects of the quantity surveying profession constitutes a sound basis for her primary role as a quantum expert.

Ms. Kim is also an adjudicator, arbitrator, non-practising barrister and qualified architectural engineer. She is an adjudicator panel member for the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and UK Adjudicators (UKA), and an arbitrator panel member for LCIA, SIAC, AIAC, KCAB, SCCA, VIAC, THAC, AIADR, QICCA and CIArb (Business Arbitration Scheme). She has been appointed by ABTA and the CIArb as sole arbitrator and by UK Adjudicator as adjudicator.
