Personal bio
Richard is a chartered quantity surveyor with twenty years’ experience spanning the construction, transport and resources sectors in Australia and the UK. Across his career he has worked in various roles from contract and commercial management, supply chain management cost consulting and acting as expert witness (quantum). This wealth of experience is backed by a first-class honors degree in civil engineering quantity surveying, a masters in construction project management together with being a professional member and chartered quantity surveyor under the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a certified quantity surveyor and member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS, CQS), as well as being an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb). Experience includes having worked for major oil and gas operators, tier 1 and 2 contractors, private consulting practices and government organisations.
