Personal bio
Anna Iacovou Stylianou has more than twenty years’ experience as dispute resolver.
She has been involved in a wide range of disputes such as construction, commerce, finance,
entertainment, real estate, marine and oil and gas disputes.
She has been involved in several arbitrations, mediations, adjudications and expert witness determinations.
Anna is a Chartered Arbitrator (C.ARB), Chartered Surveyor ( MRICS)
and CEDR Accredited Mediator, has a diploma in Negotiation
and an LLM (merit) in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University.
She is a member of important local and international arbitration and mediation committees and panels such as the CIArb, AIADR, CEDR, ADGM.
She is a tutor and examiner of RICS and a tutor, course director and examiner for Arbitration, International Arbitration and Mediation for CIARB.
Anna was involved in writing the Rules of Arbitration for the Technical Chamber of
Cyprus (ETEK) and the Rules and Scheme on Arbitration for the CIARB Cyprus Branch,
the rules on mediation for CIARB UK, module 1 for International Arbitration for AIADR.
Anna published articles in international journals such as CIARB, Lawyers Monthly Magazine, Journal of Legal Affairs and Dispute Resolution in Engineering and Construction, ASCE.
