Total of 30 years experience in the UK, Malaysia, and New Zealand. 20 years as a construction professional and 10 in academia. Former director of the Malaysian branches of two international project management and construction contracts consultancies. Currently Associate Professor and Director of Internationalisation at the School of Built Environment, Massey University, New Zealand. Also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Science Malaysia and Visiting Professor at Taylor's University Malaysia. Primary research area in construction dispute resolution and plain language legal drafting.
