Eng. Bwalya Lumbwe holds a B.Eng. (Civil)-Zambia, M.Sc. (Construction)-UK, LLM-Construction Law and Arbitration Robert Gordon University- Scotland. He is a member of several professional bodies as follows • Fellow of the Engineering Institution of Zambia • Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators-UK • Fellow of the Botswana Institute of Arbitrators • Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building-UK • Chartered Construction Manager- UK • Certified Construction Auditor-National Association of Construction Auditors, USA • Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers • Member of the Association of Consulting Engineers Zambia • Member of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation • Corporate Panel Member -Dispute Board Federation He has 36 years of experience covering all aspects of building, civil and mechanical construction. Mr. Lumbwe has held senior positions in several countries having worked in Zambia, Tanzania, Mozambique and Congo. He has experience with most forms of procurement processes and well-known conditions of contract such as FIDIC, NEC and JCT. He is also a member of the Technical Committee of the Zambia Public Procurement Authority Board and has developed expertise in public procurement processes. He is past Chairman of the National Council of Construction, a statutory body in Zambia. He actively practices as an Arbitrator, Dispute Adjudication Board Member and Adjudicator.
