Personal bio
I was formerly a Part Time Judge in the High Court and Court of Session in Scotland. I am currently a serving Part time Sheriff sitting in civil and criminal cases in Scotland . I qualified and practiced as a solicitor in private practice in 1984 and called at the Bar in 1988, I was an Advocate Depute and Senior Advocate Depute prosecuting serious crime in the High court in Scotland between 2001 - 2004. I as appointed Queen's Counsel in Scotland in 2005 and Called to the Bar in England at Middle Temple in 2019.
