The speaker, Dr Hamish Lal, will look at key substantive and procedural issues fundamental to international construction disputes and thus international construction arbitration. Claims for time and money, notices as a condition precedent, oral variations, causation in the context of delay and disruption, the impact of multi-tier dispute resolution clauses and evidence will be analyzed. Dr Hamish Lal will also look at an increasing trend in Joint Venture Disputes often amongst disparate international construction contractors. The webinar will focus on matters of practical importance viewed through an international lens. The event will be moderated by Professor Dr Mohamed Salah Abdel Wahab MCIArb.
