Join the East Anglia Branch of Ciarb to discuss the rules for trial witness statements, introduced in 2021 in the Business & Property Courts by Practice Direction 57AC. Register now to hear Mark Davison and Miranda Whiteley explore the consequences of this new strict approach and what it means for ADR practitioners.
Mark Davison heads Mills & Reeve’s international arbitration practice. His career has spanned working in the Middle East and at US firms on arbitration mandates under various institutional rules including DIAC, DIFC-LCIA, ICC, LCIA, SCC and SIAC as well as in ad-hoc arbitrations.
Miranda Whiteley practised as a commercial barrister for 12 years before joining Mills & Reeve as a professional support lawyer (PSL). Her role as a PSL involves keeping Mills & Reeve's litigation lawyers and their clients up to date with the latest legal developments. Increasingly she works on projects concerned with changing litigation practice, regulatory requirements and risk management.
