Bertie Ahern, former Taoiseach of Ireland will speak on the subject of 2023 as the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement.
Bertie Ahern retired as Taoiseach in May 2008 after serving as a member of Dáil Éireann for almost 35 years. The defining moment of his period in public service and in Irish history was his involvement, together with the British Prime Minister Tony Blair and others, in the successful negotiation of the Good Friday Agreement between the Irish and British Governments, and the political parties in Northern Ireland in April 1998.
