Kathleen Paisley is a recognised international arbitrator and mediator. She is triple qualified in law, finance and accounting, with a JD from the Yale Law School, an MBA in finance, has completed the CPA exam and is a Fellow of CIArb. Kathleen has acted in commercial cases under all the major international arbitration rules and in investorState cases before ICSID and under the UNCITRAL rules. She is an expert in IP, technology, data-protection and cybersecurity, as well as having a sophisticated understanding of finance and accounting-related issues.

Shaun is Counsel in Bird & Bird ATMD LLP’s dispute resolution group. He has been lead or sole counsel in arbitration proceedings and in Singapore court litigation. He regularly acts for clients in complex transnational commercial disputes across the TMT space, financial markets and energy & infrastructure industry. He is dual-qualified in Singapore and the UK (England & Wales). He is a CIArb Fellow, a member of the SIAC Reserve Panel of Arbitrators, as well as the AIAC Panel for Arbitrators and for Domain Name Dispute Resolution.

Gerald Leong MCIArb

Gerald is an associate at Herbert Smith Freehills, based in Singapore. He acts for clients in international arbitrations and advises them on dispute resolution. He is admitted to practice in Singapore and New York. Gerald is a member of the Young Members’ committee of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Singapore Branch). In 2019, he won the competition organised by the branch which challenged participants to draft a Procedural Order with directions on data protection and cybersecurity measures
