On 29 May 2019, CIArb Young Members’ Group (Kenya) held a seminar in cooperation with the Law Society of Kenya through its Young Lawyers Committee at the Panari Hotel in Nairobi. 

On 26th April the Young Members Group of CIArb Kenya Branch held an event in conjunction with The Alliance for Equality in Dispute Resolution in Nairobi.

The Kenyan YMG is pleased to invite Kenyan YMG members to submit an essay on: ‘The role of Kenyan courts in arbitration proceedings and the extent this has been achieved with reference to recent case law.’

Kenya Branch has been a buzz of activity and we look to have more activities before the end of the year.

Encouraging local students, this enlightening visit covered the opportunities available to young members in alternative dispute resolution.

The only Bar school in Kenya played host to a successful event on the opportunities and benefits of ADR.
